ERP for hospitals in Afghanistan, the team behind Alkozay's hospital system and ZNN's lab platform.

We built the Alkozay Group hospital management system, patient and doctor directories, inventory, laboratory, accounting, vaccination, pharmacy, procurement, and the ZNN Laboratory platform handling patients, invoicing, test reporting, and a patient portal. Operational and financial systems for Afghan healthcare, in AFN, with Dari/Pashto fields.

Hospital ERP in Afghanistan is mostly inventory discipline, lab throughput, and clean billing.

Afghan hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs, and pharmacies lose money and time to the same things: expired stock written off because nobody tracked lot and expiry, lab results re-keyed across paper and spreadsheets, patient invoices that don't reconcile against services delivered, and procurement that can't show an audit trail to a donor or owner. None of that is a clinical problem, it is an operations and finance problem, and that is exactly where an ERP earns its keep.

We have built this twice, namably. For the Alkozay Group we delivered a hospital management system covering patient and doctor directories, inventory, the laboratory, accounting, a vaccination register, the pharmacy, and procurement, one system instead of a dozen disconnected logbooks. For ZNN Laboratory we built a lab management platform handling patient records, payments and invoicing, test ordering and reporting, and a patient portal where results are released directly. These are running Afghan deployments, not reference architectures.

Engagement model: 30-min discovery → paid 2-4 week structured discovery → written solution design + firm fixed-fee proposal, refundable against the build. Entry-level hospital and clinic deployments fall in the $25-60K range; multi-site groups and lab networks sit in the $60-200K band. We are a certified Odoo partner since 2012, the longest-running in Afghanistan, and senior architects are based in Kabul.

What we run

What we run for Afghan healthcare.

, Questions

Hospital & lab ERP in Afghanistan, questions we hear.

Have you actually built hospital software in Afghanistan, or just ERP generally?
Both. We built the Alkozay Group hospital management system, patient and doctor directories, inventory, laboratory, accounting, vaccination, pharmacy, and procurement, and the ZNN Laboratory platform covering patients, invoicing, tests and reporting, and a patient portal. These are running Afghan deployments. We have also worked with Sehat Andishan on the health side.
Can your system replace our clinical EMR?
No, and we will not claim it can. Our scope is operational, financial, lab, pharmacy, and patient-administration. Where Afghan regulation or accreditation requires a certified clinical EMR for diagnoses and physician charting, we integrate with that EMR rather than replacing it. Everything around the clinical core, scheduling, inventory, lab workflow, billing, payroll, procurement, we own.
Does it handle drug and medical-supply expiry?
Yes. Pharmacy and medical-supply inventory tracks lot numbers and expiry dates with reorder points and controlled write-offs, so stock is rotated and expired items are caught before they reach a patient. This was a core requirement on the Alkozay build.
Does billing work in afghanis?
Yes. Invoicing and the finance ledger run natively in AFN, reconciled against services delivered, with self-pay and insurer handling. Multi-currency is available where a clinic bills international patients or donor-funded programs.
Where is your team based?
NETLINKS Plaza, Street 6, Lane 3, Shar-e-naw, Kabul. Phone: 077-302-0101. Senior architects and engineers based in Kabul; regional backup from Dubai, India, US.
