Afghan cloud work is mostly about hybrid + Gulf-region architecture.

Afghan cloud realities are specific: international cloud providers (AWS / Azure / GCP) don't have Afghan-region data centers, the closest regions are in the Gulf (Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia), Afghan connectivity to these regions is workable but variable, and certain regulated workloads (banking, government) require on-prem deployment for sovereignty or compliance reasons.

Our Afghan cloud practice covers: AWS deployments in Bahrain or UAE regions for low-latency Afghan delivery, Azure deployments in UAE region for Microsoft-ecosystem clients, on-prem deployments when sovereignty / compliance requires (data centers in Kabul or contracted facilities), and hybrid architectures combining cloud + on-prem for the typical Afghan-context use cases.

Pricing: managed cloud contracts $1K-$10K/month for small / mid-size Afghan organizations, $10K-$30K/month for enterprise / government clients with custom SLAs. Implementation and migration projects priced separately ($25-200K typical).

— Questions

Afghan cloud services — questions we hear.

Why no AWS or Azure region in Afghanistan?
Neither AWS nor Azure has an Afghan-region data center. Closest regions are in Bahrain, UAE, Saudi Arabia. Most Afghan client workloads run from Bahrain or UAE — connectivity is workable, latency is acceptable for typical web / API workloads.
When should we run on-prem instead of cloud?
On-prem for: regulated banking workloads where Afghan sovereignty requires, government workloads with explicit on-prem mandates, workloads where Afghan connectivity to Gulf regions is materially constrained. For most other workloads, Gulf-region cloud works well.
Can you migrate from on-prem to cloud?
Yes — common engagement. Afghan organizations modernizing from on-prem to AWS / Azure typically run 6-12 month programs. We handle migration planning, target architecture, data migration, security configuration, and go-live.
